GenERAtions: How One Windmill in 1992 Started a Lifelong Journey in Breaking

I recently joined a podcast to share my story in breaking — from discovering windmills in Globen in 1992 to three decades in the culture. We talk about crews, travels, injuries, music, kung fu training, and what it meant to grow up as a B-girl in a male-dominated scene. Grateful to reflect on the journey and the culture that still inspires me today.

Thank you Martin, Andreas and Maria Wallin for the work behind GENERATIONS — an important documentation and archiving project capturing 40 years of Hip Hop culture in Sweden, with a focus on dance. Preserving the stories and materials from pioneers who helped build this culture is invaluable, especially when so much of this history risks being lost or never written into the broader cultural narrative of Sweden.

I’m grateful to have been part of sharing my perspective and hope the project will continue to inspire dancers and practitioners while deepening the understanding of Hip Hop’s history in Sweden.
